Godhavari a mongrel aged 3 years was rescued and brought to us by our follower whose family use to feed her along with other strays every day. She was run over by a bike in the street and was suffering from severe trauma and unable to walk. Physical examination and radiography revealed a distal diaphyseal radial and an ulnar fracture in her right limb.

The radial fracture was corrected by internal fixation using a 3.5mm T-Plate and the Ulnar stabilization was done by a 2mm Kirshner Wire. Godhavari was kept in boarding for 6 weeks with strict restrictions of leash walking. She started to ambulate with ease from day 3 post Operation and made an uneventful and fantastic recovery.
Godhavari is a very friendly and calm girl and always loved to be beside Mrs. Sudha Chandrasekar, Founder of SANS whenever she visits her.
Godhavari was adopted by her rescuer and is happy in her new home and with a new family
